Grŵp Gwalia Cyf is a housing association (provider of social housing) in south and mid Wales. It is the largest housing association in Wales in terms of staff and turnover.() Grŵp Gwalia is a hybrid college recognised by the University of South Wales. Gwalia's Chief Executive is Professor Michael A H Williams LLM, BA(Hons), PGCE, PGDipFE, FCMI, FIOD, ACIH. He has fulfilled that role since 1982. The group manages over 10,000 units of accommodation including tenant residences, care units and student flats. The group was founded as Gwalia Housing Society Ltd in Swansea in 1973. The society was organised by a group of local people and consultants to provide quality low cost housing in Wales.
